The Template’s Folders Structure

 

Its important to purchase your templates from a certified computer professional and we offer qualified tech support before and AFTER the sale. Heres a brief look at our templates structure. Dont be alarmed by the "tech" talk as we make the files easy to navigate.The templates may have two versions: HTML and Flash or HTML and PSD.

Let's see its folders structure to access more quickly the files we need in this tutorial:

"flash" folder

It contains the source files for the Flash movies:

  1. index.fla is the source for the main movie,
  2. home.fla is the source of the home.swf movie that is automatically loader in the main movie
  3. content.fla is the source for the rest of the content movie.

"fonts" folder

It contains the fonts used in the source files both Flash and Photoshop

To install the fonts copy them from this folder and go to your Windows Fonts folder in C:\Windows\Fonts and paste them there. If you already have one of these fonts installed you will be notified. You can also "right click" the font and select the "install" option and the font will be installed in your fonts folder.

"html" folder

It contains the final html files for the HTML version of the template and for the Flash version of the template.

In "flash_version" folder you'll find the exported flash movies and the html file. The "images" folder contain the images used in the Flash movies, images that were exported from Photoshop

In "html_version" folder you'll find the index.html file for the html version together with the "images" folder that contains the images exported from ImageReady and the "css" folder that contain the styles.css file.

"psd" folder

It contains the index.psd Photoshop file of this template.

Q: What programs can I use to edit the Templates?

 Answer: A .HTML editor of your choice, Such as Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS4 and Adobe® photoshop® CS4 or Fireworks® to edit the .PSD Templates and logos.
For the Flash Templates (.fla), you can use Adobe® Flash. Again, there are many editors you can use so long as its compatible with the file extensions of the templates.
Q: Are the templates safe for my computer?

 Answer: Great question! With over 10 GB of data, security is our top priority. We currently cross-check all the files with Norton Antivirus AND McAfee Antivirus.
We do this because one Antivirus program may miss something and the other program will catch what the other program missed. Although the content is mostly static,
we make sure to scan for Malware, Spam and other malicious programs that could compromise our customers computer. We also STRONGLY urge our customers
to scan the files as well just to be on the safe side.
